Throughout the blogosphere I’ve met some wonderfully talented, intelligent and creative people who have their own unique voice and something to share. My favorite relationships are those that are based on mutual respect. Lately, I’ve been corresponding with Kia Robertson, a woman whose philosophy on nutrition and healthy eating I feel strongly about and equally share.
Kia had recently sent me her latest, a Today I Ate A Rainbow! kit, which allows children to monitor their progress within their quest to eat well. This is all done in a fun, intuitive and informative way with the assistance of charts, magnets, shopping lists and illustrated books. We all know that kids yearn for order, repetition and to be challenged, so Kia skillfully incorporates this into the Today I Ate A Rainbow! kit.
Should you have a picky eater at home or if you simply want a fun way for your kids to instill and nurture lifelong healthy eating habits, this kit will undoubtedly assist in that process.

My son is becoming one of those kids and I don’t like it at all! He’s a good eater but He’s refusing to eat veggies lately, We are OK with fruits but this little guy is even taking away the vegetables in rice or soup, amazing! Anyway… I’m serving fruits and veggies everyday and keeping strong, pushing him a little bit sometimes but it’s worth it!
It’s quite difficult to say the least, but “positive” persistence definitely helps! Good luck Karina & thanks for commenting!
Angela, saying thank you hardly seems enough!!! I was blown away with your article on our Today I Ate A Rainbow kits! As a small family run company it means more than you can know to have you share our kit with your readers and for you to say all the things you did! You have been a personal role model of mine for years…just having you mention me on your site is surreal 🙂 You have been able to sum our our product and our mission to help parents perfectly!
It is so exciting that there are influential people like you who have our children’s best interests in mind.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart…I am so grateful, honored and thrilled that we have connected!
Likewise Kia. Keep on doing what you do!!
Angela – first of all – you are one talented lady! Secondly, I am so happy to see you promote this amazing product. I also have been talking with Kia – she is an inspiration to all of us parents and her product is truly amazing!
Thank you for the kind word. Kia’s got my support as well. Thanks for commenting!
Thanks! I’m in complete agreement with you re. Today I Ate A Rainbow & Kia!
It’s wonderful to see this kit mentioned here. I am a registered dietitian/foodtritionist. In the 20+ years I have been in the trenches of consumer nutrition education, this is one of the very best resources I have ever come across for supporting kids in eating fruits and vegetables. PS – Your shows, philosophy and all-round style are all just fantastic. Cheers! Patricia
